To anyone wonderful enough to still be reading this:

Hello (I'm your mind, giving you someone to talk too, huh xD) I shall start with a short update on my life and then a preview if you will.

As most of you know I have barely been active in the last year or so due to constant illnesses and school. I spent most of the early part of my summer vacation else where and have been working an oldfashioned toy store as of late. I just got back from a three day trip to Berlin (took lots of pictures!) and I went to London earlier to celebrate the end of the exams. And on the way home I got to hear that I graduated (yay me!).

I'll be moving to another part of the country on thursday to start my studies there (I'll be going to a university college) but will probably still spend my weekends in my home city. However I shall be spending them with my, believe it or not, boyfriend/wannabe-fiance/lao gung/significant other. I met him a little over five months ago and he has been simply wonderful. Basically he's everything I could have never asked for.

But the thing about me being happy (as can be) is that it's terrible for my writing. Currently DBF is spending nearly six weeks in China to visit his family (he grew up there and is studying here) so I hoped the madness from him being gone for so long would drive me back to writing it hasn't, at least not as much as I'd like it too. I have written, but more in a journal format than anything else. I have a lot of older pieces that I've written scattered over the past few months that I should get around to uploading. Perhaps I can even sort through my huge stack of photographs and find a few that might be worth sharing. I only hope I can find the time.

I would love to get involved in this site again, and I would kill to get back into writing (as arrogant as it sounds, when I read back in my gallery I realize I'm actually rather fond of my own writing) but between school and DBF, I'm not sure where I can find the time. I will still be on here every now and then and I would love to talk to any of the people I used to talk to frequently on here so feel free to shoot me a note or comment at any given time (although I've been known for terribly late replies, consider yourself warned.)

I will try to upload some older pieces in the next two weeks or so, and I hope to talk to you. That's it for now, enjoy what's left of summer and feel free to wish me a happy early birthday ;D
